Dentist Direct’s Principal Dentist, Dr. Stanley, has more than 20 years of experience as a dentist and has gained extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry. Dr Stanley graduated with a BDS Honours in 2005 and received his MSc in Implantology and Dental Surgery in 2015 from the International Medical College in Germany. Dr Stanley attended postgraduate studies in Advanced General Practice at The University of Birmingham in 2015/2016. He is currently a member of the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS (PDS)) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Experienced in general, restorative, cosmetic, paediatric, geriatric, sleep dentistry, and cosmetic injectable dentistry, Dr Stanley has a special interest in oral surgery, including bone grafts, internal and external sinus lift procedures, and All-On-4 dental implants. He has a kind, compassionate nature and the ability to put patients at ease.

In his spare time, Dr. Stanley enjoys watching movies, hiking, travelling and an occasional glass of whisky!

Dr Bimin believes in empowering patients with guidance and knowledge so that they can take an
active role in their oral health journey. Having obtained her Bachelor of Dental Health Science and a Master of Dentistry from Griffith University, she is committed to continuous professional
development and has expanded her expertise through advanced training. Her commitment to
staying at the forefront of dental advancements ensures that the patients of Dentist Direct receive a top-tier standard of care, backed by the latest materials and technology. Combining her gentle
demeanour and attention to detail helps create a stress-free and welcoming environment.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and heading down the coast to Brisbane
for yum-cha!

Graduating from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr Bhasu thrives on
building long-term relationships and helping his patients achieve and maintain their healthiest
smiles. He is committed to providing high-quality care personalised to individual patient needs,
focusing on informed decision-making, clear communication, and treatment delivery in a welcoming setting. Whether you’re coming in for a general examination or more extensive restorative work, Dr Bhasu will work with you to provide a personalised treatment plan based on your clinical needs and goals.

When he’s not in the clinic, Bhasu enjoys cooking and eating great food, staying active at the gym,
watching the occasional blockbuster movie, and prioritising quality time with his family!

Ann is Dentist Direct’s resident Dental Hygienist. She completed their diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1995 in Adelaide and has accumulated 30 years of extensive experience in the dental field. Ann, an established local dental hygienist in Hervey Bay, has vast knowledge and expertise. She provides compassionate, professional, expert dental care and is highly skilled in working with children and elderly people to deliver bright, sparkly smiles!

When Ann isn’t working, she enjoys long road trips, gardening, boating, camping and 4WD’ing!

Hi, my name is Andrea “Andy,” and I’m a Dental Assistant at Dentist Direct Hervey Bay. With a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and over 40 years of experience in the dentistry field, I work alongside all our clinicians to assist and support patients throughout their visits. You’ll often find me in the sterilisation room preparing equipment, but I also enjoy helping out at the front desk, answering calls, and chatting with patients. Outside of work, I love catching up with friends over lunch, watching the latest Netflix documentaries, or dancing to music while doing housework.

My favourite food is a classic steak sandwich, my favourite song is “Songbird” by Eva Cassidy, and my favourite quote is, “Always be proud of how hard you are trying.

Hi, my name is Chauntal, and I’m a Dental Assistant at Dentist Direct Hervey Bay. I hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a Certificate IV in Fitness, with 20 years of experience in the dentistry field. In my role, I assist all our clinicians and handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, taking payments, and processing instruments in the sterilisation room. Outside of work, you’ll find me attending church on Sundays, staying active by lifting weights at the gym, and playing squash throughout the week.

My favourite food is—without a doubt—chocolate, my taste in music is too broad to name just one favourite song, and my favourite quote is, “I am blessed and highly favoured.”

Hi, my name is Peter, and I’m a Dental Assistant at Dentist Direct Hervey Bay. I hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a Certificate IV in Human Resources. With both clinical and administrative experience, my role often has me bouncing between reception, the sterilisation room, the lab—where I make oral appliances—and assisting our clinicians in the dental surgery. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my pup Olive along the beach, reading a good book in the garden, adding yet another plant to my growing collection, and relaxing with an ice-cold gin at a cool bar.

My favourite food is sushi, my favourite song is “Love My Way” by The Psychedelic Furs, and my favourite quote is, “You play stupid games; you win stupid prizes.”

Hi, my name is Susan, and I’m the Practice Manager at Dentist Direct Hervey Bay. With 20 years of experience in the dentistry field, my passion for both dentistry and Dentist Direct has allowed me to progress from assisting to administration, and now into my current role as practice manager. I oversee the clinical management side of the business, including rostering, maintenance, compliance, ordering, financial matters, and general administrative duties. Outside of work, I love spending time with my beautiful family, watching my latest Netflix obsession, and taking long road trips.
